Plot
A group of professional bank robbers (Michael Ealy, Chris Brown, Paul Walker, Idris Elba and Hayden Christensen), who specialize in spectacular robberies, are pulled into one last job by a recently paroled cohort (T.I) who only to be pitted against a hard-boiled detective (Matt Dillon) who interrupts their heist.

T.I. as Ghost, the smooth talker.[ "Ghost is a guy who was once the head of this crew. [...] I took a hit on the last job. I got shot and went to prison. [...] Now I'm back out. The crew has gone on to do other jobs. Their position is, 'We've held your money for you. It's been collecting interest.' I'm like, 'Yeah, OK, but I got a job I wanna do,'" T.I. said. Filming of the movie was scheduled around T.I.'s legal complications, which stemmed from weapons possession charges in late 2007. T.I. was one of the film's producers.

Plot Summary: "Takers," directed by John Luessenhop, revolves around a notorious group of criminals (Idris Elba, Paul Walker, T.I., Chris Brown, Hayden Christensen and Michael Ealy) who continue to baffle police by pulling off perfectly executed bank robberies. They are in and out like clockwork, leaving no evidence behind and laying low in between heists. But when they attempt to pull off one last job with more money at stake than ever before, the crew may find their plans interrupted by a hardened detective (Matt Dillon) who is hell-bent on solving the case.
